Where is justice? Where is remorse? Where is mercy?

Forgiving someone who doesn’t deserve it – a situation we all find ourselves in. We will face injustice.

Offering forgiveness is the way of Christ, is the way of the cross.

How will work for us in our daily lives? Sometimes we have to make the first move, even when we’re the victim.

But God, being rich in mercy, because of the great love with which he loved us, even when we were dead in our trespasses, made us alive together with Christ—by grace you have been saved—

Ephesians 2:4‭-‬5 ESV

We have all needed, and received mercy from our master, to a far greater extent than we need to show. How can we expect mercy if we don’t live a merciful life? God demands we show mercy.

I want you to show love, not offer sacrifices. I want you to know me more than I want burnt offerings.

Hosea 6:6 NLT

There will be no mercy for those who have not shown mercy to others. But if you have been merciful, God will be merciful when he judges you.

Showing mercy will lead to happiness in your life. You benefit yourself when you show mercy to others. We need to act when we have a chance, even if it’s just a small act.
